Grossing more than $56.3 million this weekend, Snow White and the Huntsman nabs the number one spot at the box office, pushing Avengers and Men in Black III down on the top 10 list, according to The Wrap.
The story of how Snow White got banished into the forest takes a devilishly dark turn with Charlize Theron as the Queen and Kristen Stewart as Snow White. Let?s not forget scruffy Chris Hemsworth who plays the very rough-and-tumble huntsman who also has to find his heroic side in this gritty dramatic fantasy.

Pushed from its number one spot last week down to second place is the third installation in the alien comedy series, Men in Black III. The film starring Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin and Will Smith grossed an estimated $29.3 million this weekend.

The superhero movie with all the gorgeous caped crusaders, The Avengers, came in number three this week with an estimated $20.2 million. Three is a lucky number for this heroic troupe. The film about joining forces has joined audiences in massive numbers. This week marks a new high for Avengers when it reached the number three spot of all-time domestic gross at $552.7 million, bumping The Dark Knight from its previously coveted spot, according to The Los Angeles Times.

Coming in fourth this week was Battleship, starring Brooklyn Decker and Liam Neeson. The siege-at-sea action film grossed $4.8 million, despite its popularity overseas.

Sacha Baron Cohen?s The Dictator ranked fifth this week with $4.7 million. The farce on a narcissistic Middle East ruler who gets stuck working as an immigrant in New York didn?t pull as many fans into the theaters as his first film, Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan, did.

A surprise little indie that could, The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, starring Judi Dench, Bill Nighy and Maggie Smith ranks sixth this week with $4.6 million. This story is about a group of retirees who go to India to seek solace but end up finding nothing but chaos.

Rounding out the top 10 is What to Expect When You?re Expecting ranking seventh with $4.4 million, Dark Shadows ranking eighth with $3.8 million, Chernobyl Diaries ranking ninth with $3 million and For Great Glory ranking in tenth with $1.8 million.
